The Move Away from Distribution to Becoming a Prime Manufacturer
The Staticworx manufacturing operation was conceived as a direct result of observing Internet buying trends that bypass traditional flooring distributors in favor of “going factory direct.” At this point, Staticworx® in conjunction with an outside investment group, started a solid vinyl tile manufacturing operation. Subsequently, Staticworx® ' staff branched rapidly into rubber, carpet and epoxy solutions for government, military and mission critical operations across the United States.
Dave has been providing ESD flooring products, floor tile and mats, and peripheral ESD products, to clients nationwide since 1976. Staticworx® services end-users in manufacturing, industrial, municipal and government facilities, as well as flooring installers, contractors and architects.
Staticworx® familiarizes clients with current ESD standards and specifications and helps them develop and implement a best-practice Total ESD Protection Program for their facilities and personnel. And Staticworx® assists customers with the specifics of selecting and installing the various conductive adhesives. Staticworx® also trains and educates architects and engineers about ESD and ESD specifications and provides online assistance in understanding the performance parameters of conductive, dissipative and antistatic floors and ESD carpet.
In addition to its manufacturing operation, Staticworx® has negotiated strategic supply agreements with manufacturers and raw materials suppliers around the world to produce best of class ESD flooring products at highly competitive price points. These long-term agreements eliminate performance and aesthetic problems, including dye lot variation, color matching, specification consistency and compliance with ESD standards, such as ANSI S20-20.
Buying and Shipping
All Staticworx flooring, chemicals, maintenance supplies and adhesives are packaged in branded Staticworx containers.
Before buying any ESD flooring item you should always ask the supplier if the packaging will display the same identification as the brand and information that appears on their website, the bill of lading and your purchase order. Many Internet businesses present themselves as manufacturers or brand managers; Sometimes these businesses are resellers of products from different manufacturers than what is shown on their website. If you are using SAP or other enterprise management software, you need to know if the information on packaging, bill of Lading, MSDS and labels will match the information on your purchase order.
